Networking group for Deadheads -- Networking Is Dead -- to hold March 28
event at the Crop Bistro Vault featuring live music from Sunshine Daydream.
Cleveland, OH, February 27, 2017 - Networking is Dead, a business networking group based in Cleveland for fans of the Grateful Dead, has scheduled their next networking event on March 28 from 6 – 9 p.m. at the Crop Bistro Vault in Ohio City. The event will feature networking, open bar (beer and wine), heavy hors d’oeuvres, auction items, and music from popular Dead cover band Sunshine Daydream. To enhance the networking, attendees will receive the names and email addresses of all other attendees. Tickets are $49 and can be purchased through the Networking is Dead website at NetworkingIsDead.net.
Networking is Dead was launched in August of 2016 and now has over 60 members from a variety of industries. “I thought it would be fun to bring Dead fans together who could possibly make business connections,” said Ken Vinikoff, founder of Networking is Dead. “I’ve already met a lot of great people and have seen a number of business relationships form because of it.”
Networking Is Dead is modeled after a New York-based networking group - Wall Street Dead aHead Networking Events™, whose founder Deborah Solomon plans to attend the Cleveland event. I am so happy that Wall Street Dead aHead Networking Events™ inspired the creation of Networking is Dead! Super excited to attend the event in Cleveland and support this awesome group," said Solomon.
“I’m especially stoked to have Sunshine Daydream play at our event,” said Vinikoff. “I’ve seen them a bunch of times around town. Our group will love them.” Sunshine Daydream features Thor Platter and Tom Prebish on guitar and vocals, Alfredo Guerrieri on bass, Fred Perez-Stable on drums, and Chris Hanna on keys.
